Student Experience Co-ordinator - Matenity Leave Cover

Position: Student Experience Co-ordinator (maternity cover) from 1st September 2025 until 30th
June 2026 (subject to notice periods).

Responsible to: Interim Student Experience Manager

Pay: Grade 4, £24,520.25 - £26,813.55 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Keele Students' Union (Keele SU) is dedicated to empowering every student to be who they want to be and make a difference to the world. Our strategic plan for 2025-2028 focuses on preparing students for life after Keele, helping them have fun and make friends for life, and supporting them through their university challenges. This is an exciting time to join Keele SU as we prepare to launch our new strategic plan for 2025-2028 this summer, following the appointment of our new CEO in September 2024. Like many Students' Unions and higher education institutions, we are navigating challenges due to the current economic climate, the evolving needs of our members, and the global impact of conflicts. However, we are determined to use this new plan as a strategic stepping stone to grow and achieve our ambition of becoming one of the "top 10" Students' Unions. Keele SU is looking for a Student Experience Co-ordinator to cover maternity leave:

Delivering to students a broad day to day student experience whilst a student at Keele.

You will take a lead on coordinating Sport, Volunteering and Activities with support from colleagues and deliver engaging, meaningful, measurable student activities.

The post holder will also support other SU colleagues in their roles, supporting projects or events that are being delivered.

The post holder will support the development of members and volunteer leaders, through the delivery of training, ongoing support and reward opportunities which enhances members' employability skills and the overall student experience.

Also necessary will be the support and delivery of initiatives to meet current and future student needs and the engagement of hard to r each and underrepresented groups.
