Student Staff - Events Crew - 2025/2026
Responsible to: Senior Operations Manager, Deputy Operations Manager, Venue Coordinators, Deputy Manager
Hours: Term-time only, casual engagement, shifts between 9am - 4am, 7 days a week
Salary: Grade S1, £10:00 - £12.21 per hour

Role Summary:
The events team undertake a variety of roles including:
Event staff – Assisting the Venues management in delivering a comprehensive programme of quality events, delivering hospitality, supporting with student events with the marketing and promotion of events.
Technical staff – Assisting with the safe load in, set up, delivery and load out of events, involving manual handling, tech support, use of cables and various equipment.
Other duties include - Promoting our events, posters/promotion around campus, office-based computer work (Office 365, Word & Excel), “running” (assisting with artist’s and DJ needs on events), working under the direction of the management team involved in all aspects of customer service.
